Electric Car Chargers EV Chargers
Kunini is a dealer for the Wallbox EV Chargers and Charging Stations in Thailand. When considering an EV Charger for your home or business it’s important to select the one for your needs. Typically, a charger rated for 7.4kW is used for homes, this would be a single-phase charger and installation would be straightforward. The only consideration would be to check the electric meter rating, supply cables and spare capacity in the Consumer Unit. If you have a three-phase supply at home then you may consider a 22kW charger, similar considerations need to be checked and an electrical survey would be recommended before installing such a high-powered charger. If you have a business such as a coffee shop, restaurant, hotel or community mall then three-phase chargers are defiantly recommended and possibly a DC Fast charger too.
Create Income From Your EV Charging Station
Installing an EV Charging station can be a great way to add an additional revenue stream to your business. By joining the Elexa EV Network your EV Charging station will be on the map. You can then decide if you want to charge for EV charging on your system or offer some free EV charging time to promote your business.
Each charging cable has a connector you plug into the electric car and/or the charge point. What type of charging connector you use depends on your car and the power rating of the charge point.
Here are the two consumer charging plugs used in Thailand.
- Level 2: Charging at 223-240V 16A – 32A (Residential and Commercial)
- Level 3: Charging CHAdeMO technology, also known as DC Fast Charging charges through a 480V, direct-current (DC) plug. (usually Commercial)
